The annual High Tide Literary Art Magazine is now on sale for $3 each. The magazine is a celebration of writing and art across grades kindergarten through eighth. Each year, students have the chance to submit articles independently, or have their work submitted by teachers. Submissions are then narrowed down by a selection committee. High Tide is organized by teachers Mrs. Frazier and Mr. Scala. Copies are now available from any classroom teacher.

The magazine is made possible by fundraising and from a generous donation from the Springs School PTA. A "brunch for lunch" fundraiser held earlier this year was coordinated by parent Jeanine Burge and raised $1,300 for the magazine. Students paid $3.00 for a pancake or french toast lunch, along with fruit salad, sausages and juice. New this year was also a fundraising raffle. Students sold raffle tickets for the chance to win a One Direction gift set.

This year, each eighth grade student will receive a free copy of High Tide as a gift from the teachers at Springs School who have inspired them through writing and art.
