New Front Entrance Completed

A new school year has brought new additions to Springs School!  A new front entrance was constructed over the summer. The new entrance includes a ramp which is fully handicapped-accessible, and an entrance into a vestibule, where visitors can wait before being buzzed in. "Our hope is that this new vestibule will provide another layer of safety for our students, staff, and parents when they are in the building," said Principal Eric Casale. The new vestibule allows the school to better monitor and track who is entering the building. In addition, because of the ramp construction, it allows the front entrance to now be A.D.A (Americans with Disabilities) compliant. "This is an area we have been wanting to address for quite some time,” said Principal Casale. The front sidewalk has also been repaved so as to remove any tripping hazards. The vestibule project was paid for out of the Capital Fund.
