Thanksgiving Food Drive Provides 25 Meals This Year!

On Monday, junior high Student Council members packed up 25 boxes of food for families in need this Thanksgiving. Last year, Springs School provided food for 21 families. Ms. Mackey's class helped collect the food boxes from classrooms, and organized it to be ready to pack. Every year, the Springs School Community Outreach Committee hosts a fundraiser to collect various canned and boxed food to add to the donated turkeys they receive to create food baskets for members of our community. Thank you to everyone who donated: Students and their families, staff members, One Stop Market, Stop 'N Shop, IGA, North Sea Farms, and The Springs General Store for donating this year.
