Building Repairs Proposal Passes


On Monday, August 3rd, the Board of Education approved the sum of $78,717.39 to be appropriated from the Repair Reserve Fund to cover necessary costs to complete certain building repairs at Springs School. The building repairs include improving the exterior doors so that they are A.D.A.-compliant ($24,544.47), resurfacing the boys and girls lockers ($8,894.00), outdoor painting, removing rust stains and fixing wall cracks ($26,933.92), repairing the video surveillance system ($4,200.00), replacing the removed shrubbery in the front of the school ($5,000.00), repairing the irrigation system ($7,970.00), and repairing gutters ($1,175.00). The public hearing was held on Monday, August 3rd.
