Springs School PTA Hits the Ground Running!

The Springs School PTA held its first meeting of the school year on Tuesday, Oct. 6th. Members discussed the current fundraiser (deadline is Oct.14th!), and upcoming events such as the Scholastic Book Fair, the Junior High Halloween Dance, and the Springs School Turkey Trot in November. The PTA is looking to recruit more members and encourages all families to sign up. Membership costs $6 per person, or $10 per family for the year. Membership forms can be found on the Springs School website under the PTA tab. Please also make sure to check our PTA page regularly for a list of upcoming events and dates, and contact information. 
Some of the programs that are co-sponsored throughout the year by the PTA are: The Back-to-School BBQ, Visiting Artists Program, Halloween Candy Buy Back, Spooky Walk, 4th Grade Opera Trip, 4th Grade trip to Liberty Science Center, 7th Grade Trip to NYC, Box Tops, the YMCA Swim Program, Skate Night, World's Fair, Celebration of the Arts Show, PARP Bingo Night, Green and White Day, Springs Idol, 8th Grade CPR Training, 8th Grade Scholarship Program, the 8th Grade Graduation Dance, Kindergarten Graduation and the Health Fair....just to name a few!
