The Springs School girls tennis team had a successful season this fall with a record of 4 wins and 4 losses. The wins were 2 against Southampton, a win against Hampton Bays, and a win against our cross-town rival, East Hampton. The team consisted of Kaylee Mendelman at 1st singles, Madison Lappin at 2nd singles, Hannah Hartsough at 3rd singles, and Erin Kennedy at 4th singles. The three doubles teams were - 1st doubles: Sophie Kiembock and Aly Dayton, 2nd doubles: Bailey Grant and Eva Wojtusiak, 3rd doubles: Mali Faukner and Aryanna Anderson. "The team's success comes from all the tennis the girls play in the off season," said Coach Mark McKee. Way to go, girls!

In other sports news, the girls' soccer team finished their season with 4 wins, 3 losses, and 3 ties. The team was led by eighth grade captains Jennifer Calle, Brenda Guerrero, and Eileen Considine. Seventh grade girls Katrina Osterberg and Kaya Carpio were integral parts of the team, as well. "As a team, we were outstanding on the defensive side of the ball," said Coach Foster. "We didn't allow many goals this year. And, we continued to improve on passing, creating space, and getting shots on goal." Coach Foster added that they will miss the graduating eighth graders for their "leadership and experience." "On the other hand, the seventh graders have a lot of promise." Coach added. "We look forward to building on next season."
