Sixth graders in Mrs. Hamilton and Mrs. Dunham's E.L.A. class showed their appreciation to teachers who made a difference in their lives by creating cards and delivering them personally. At the "Appreciation Station" set up in their classroom, students wrote a personal message in a thank you card, and wrapped it up with a muffin and tea bag, and then hand-delivered the thank-you's on Tuesday, November 24th. "The season inspired us," said Mrs. Hamilton. It was the first time E.L.A. students embarked on such a project, but their teachers say they'd like to make it a tradition. Happy Thanksgiving!
