Opera Opening Night was January 20, 2016 and it was stupendous! "The countless hours of writing, composing, and practicing sure paid off!" said Assistant Principal Christine Cleary. "Springs School was a special place in 1962 and it remains so today."  This year's opera is called "The Peacock's Tale," and is based on the real life story of two boys, Porfirio and Joseph Goncalves, who moved to Springs from Portugal and introduced their love of soccer to the school and the community. The title of the opera comes from the fact that the boys' family owned a peacock who sometimes wandered down Springs-Fireplace Road! The story takes place in 1962. Please check the "Main Calendar" on the Springs School homepage to see additional performance times. The public is welcomed. No tickets required.
