Students celebrated being "100 days smarter" as they celebrated the 100th day of school. Studentsin Mrs. Hicks' kindergarten class celebrated by making "100 day snack bags" that held different treats. Students practiced counting by tens, and also made "100 days smarter" hats and wrote what they would do with $100. Students in Ms. Waleko's first grade class also celebrated by "shopping" for 100 snacks during snack time. They used ten-frames to "shop" and also created self-portraits of themselves as 100-years-olds, using "tear art!" First graders in Mrs. Dragone's class read in "different ways" for 100 minutes! And the first graders in Mrs. Diaz's class did "100 Day Counting," made a poster of 100 words, and sang 100th Day songs. They also made snack bags with 100 bite-sized snacks!
