Mrs. Seff's sixth grade classes are working on a "Storm the Castle" project based on a Science Olympiad event.  "Students have constructed Leonardo Da Vinci inspired catapults, which they are now calibrating and testing, collecting data and creating graphs to visually represent their data," explained Mrs. Seff.  Students will "fire" their catapults in a competition next week and will be awarded points in the competition for precision and distance.  "At this point students do not know what the projectile mass will be, so they are testing out projectiles with a range of masses so they can best make a prediction, and set their target at the competition."
