Student's Artwork is Published in Statewide Calendar

Last year, students in Mrs. Seff's science classes were invited to submit artwork for a calendar published by the New York Water Environment Association and the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation. The theme was "Conserve and Protect our Water," and students from all over New York state submitted their art. Seventh grader Kimberly Bermeo was one of the fourteen winners! Her artwork is featured for the month of December. Her slogan was, "Save the water. Be a superhero!" Kimberly received a plaque and the honor of being published in a state-wide calendar! This poster contest was an excellent tool for teaching children about various water issues and environmental issues. Congratulations, Kimberly!
