Students have been celebrating the Thanksgiving holiday in different ways in the days leading up to the holiday. Mrs. Sullivan's second grade class created a "Thankful Tree" where each student wrote on a leaf what they are thankful for. Second graders in Ms. Waleko's class and kindergarteners in Mrs. Goncalves's class had fun with turkeys by creating "turkeys in disguise." Mrs. Seff's A.E.P. classes created "Leaf Art" where they created images out of leaves they found outside. Mrs. McKee's second grade class displayed a "Thanks a Lot" poem on their bulletin board which reminded us what to be thankful for this season! The day before Thanksgiving Recess, first graders in Mrs. Dragone and Mrs. Diaz's classes got together and made turkeys out of apples! All the kindergarten classes celebrated together by having a true Thanksgiving feast for lunch!
