Sixth graders in Mrs. Hamilton, Mrs. Dunham, and Mrs. Royal's E.L.A. classes showed their appreciation to teachers who made a difference in their lives by creating cards and delivering them personally. Students wrote a personal message in a thank you card, and wrapped it up with a muffin and tea bag, and then hand-delivered the thank-you's as a surprise to their teachers. "Students selected one person in the building who has made an impact on them," said Mrs. Royal. "They wrote thoughtful letters thanking the teacher and explaining how they have made an impact. Students personally delivered the letter, a muffin, and a tea bag along with a handshake and a greeting. The kids did a great job learning these interpersonal skills!"  Pictured here are just a few snapshots of these surprise visits! Happy Thanksgiving!
