Springs School's first annual teachers' gingerbread house-building contest took place last week! About 38 participating teachers and staff members each paid $12 for a gingerbread house kit and assembled their masterpieces with only one rule - everything had to be edible! The proceeds raised would be awarded to the winner's charity of choice. The winning house was Julie Bistrian's from the Business Office! Mrs. Bistrian designed a local scene including the Springs General Store and Pussy's Pond! Second place went to Mrs. Farmer's "Frozen" scene and third place went to Mrs. Dunham's "Candy Land." Mrs. Bistrian will be donating the proceeds to "The Kitchen for Liam," a local charity. You can read more about the Kitchen for Liam by clicking here.
