Mr. King's junior high health classes have welcomed Kate Rabinowitz and Susan Black from the Anna Lytton Foundation to help show them how to create a healthy lifestyle. "The students learned about the six essential nutrients (Carbohydrates, Fats, Proteins, Vitamins, Minerals, and Water), how to read food labels, and also learned about and got to try some locally grown products," said Mr. King. For the activity portion of the lesson, students made their own hummus, sushi, and protein snacks. To learn more about the Anna Lytton Foundation, please visit http://www.annalyttonfoundation.org
