The annual fall P.A.R.P. (Parents as Reading Partners) rally was held recently and it put a "sweet" spin on reading! The candy theme was designed by fifth grade student Amanda Barros, who named it, “The best treat is a good book!” and was chosen out of many entries in the theme contest, had teachers dressed up as Skittles, M&Ms, and Oompah-Loompahs from "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory!" Students took part in several trivia-themed activities and teachers competed against each other in their own events. The fun event was organized by reading teacher Mrs. Vickers and the P.A.R.P. committee.
