The "79 Watch Us Shine" opera company outdid themselves with last week's performances of the fourth grade opera! This year marks the 21st year that Springs School has been performing an opera.  Students did everything from writing the show, creating the scenery, to doing public relations. "The students studied the mystery genre in third grade, so they wanted to write a mystery this year," explained teacher and opera advisor Ms. Lydon. The title and story of the opera were kept secret until the public relations team released their posters the week before Opening Night. The opera, "The Case of the Missing Pollock Painting,"  was set right here in Springs, specifically the Pollock-Krasner House.

Coming up later this year, for the first time, will be a junior high play. Stay tuned!
