Fifth Grader Collects Toys for Stony Brook Hospital

Fifth grader PJ Brabant thought of a program he named "One Makes a Smile" which aims to collect toys for children being treated at Stony Brook Hospital. PJ asked the students of Springs School to bring in a present they don't like or don't need after the holidays.  PJ created flyers and decorated boxes which were placed around the school so that students could drop off these toys. These toys will be donated to the Stony Brook Pediatric Unit so that children have something to play with when they are in the hospital. According to PJ, at least 75 toys have been collected so far. As part of his dedication, PJ plans on delivering the toys himself, along with his parents, to the hospital. Way to go, PJ!
