Crazy Sock Day is Wed. March 21st!

In observance of World Down Syndrome Day (due to 3 copies of the 21st chromosome), we will be having a "Crazy Sock Day" on Wednesday, March 21st.

This is celebrated around the world with 'lots of socks'-

wearing crazy colorful socks to show your support.

This year, we will be holding a fundraiser in which students buy white socks and decorate them with fabric markers.

Proceeds will be split between the LI Down Syndrome Advocacy Foundation and our own Special Olympians.

If your child would like to participate please send

$5 on Monday, March 19th. We will have fabric markers available for the kids to decorate their very own ‘crazy socks.’ These colorful socks will be displayed in the commons room on Tuesday, March 20th and then sent home for students to wear on Wednesday, March 21st.

Any questions? email: klamonda@springsschool.org Foundation and our own Special Olympians.
