For Halloween, junior high students from Mrs. O’Reilly’s, Mrs. Hamilton’s, and Mr. Osterweil's E.L.A. classes dressed up as their favorite idioms! Students came up with an idiom and created their own costumes. “This was a good exercise for the students to learn what an idiom in literary meaning is and what it looks like. Their ideas came to life in their costumes,” said Mrs. Hamilton. Click on the pictures to enlarge and see how many you can guess!
