Sixth graders in Mrs. Hamilton and Mrs. Dunham's E.L.A. class showed their appreciation to teachers who made a difference in their lives by creating "grateful" gifts and delivering them personally. At the "Appreciation Station" set up in their classroom, students wrote a personal message in a thank you card, along with a plaque, and then hand-delivered the thank-you's. "The season inspired us," said Mrs. Hamilton. It was the second year that E.L.A. students embarked on this project, and their teachers say they'd like to make it an annual tradition. Happy Thanksgiving!
