The Springs School Fourth Grade students and families raised a grand total of $502 for the Coral Restoration Foundation! What an achievement! The students came up with the idea for the bake sale after reading a book called The Brilliant Deep, by Kate Messner. Their hard work and support will help the Coral Restoration Foundation to rebuild coral reefs around the world. Coral reefs are important to the ocean environment because they provide habitat for many different kinds of ocean life! But they are in crisis right now due to human activity.

The 4th grade students' efforts will help restore coral reefs and allow our oceans to continue to thrive. These students took a real-world problem, came up with a way to help, and turned their ideas into action. They should be so proud!
