Springs School Halloween Parade and Idiom Contest

Springs students showed off their creativity during the annual Halloween Parade and Idiom contest. At the end of the school day, younger students showed off their costumes as they paraded throughout and around the school. Parents and teachers met them and cheered them on.

Older students participated in the Idiom contest, in which students dress up in clever costumes that are intended to represent idioms. With the help of Mr. Wojtusiak and the student council, this event, started by Mrs. O'Reilly, has grown from a classroom activity to a full-scale celebration of ingenuity cleverness. The event provides the middle school students and staff with a way to join in on Halloween fun in a positive and educational way. The winners of the Idiom Contest this year were Finn Hopkins and Cody Debackere. The costumes have gotten more creative every year. We can't wait to see what next year will bring.

Check out these imaginative costumes! Wishing everyone a safe and fun Halloween!
